A sponsored walk is being held on Bank Holiday Monday, May 1st, to raise funds for two local groups of the Riding for the Disabled Association.

The walk will start from Widbrook Equestrian Centre,

Bradford on Avon, home to Saxon Group of the RDA and finish at Wellow Trekking Centre, home of the Wellow Group.

Walkers will be able to choose from a range of distances between one mile to nineteen miles, largely along the beautiful Kennet and Avon canal. The going is mostly flat and easy and there will be guides and marshals joining the walkers.

Everyone is welcome on the walk and there are several refreshment stops along the route. Wellow Trekking Centre, 9.5 miles from the start, also has a café. If walkers need

transport back to the start, this can be arranged from any of the stops, and organisers ask that they be informed in advance if this is required.

Sponsor forms are available from Wellow Trekking Centre and Widbrook Equestrian Centre. For more details, please email: [email protected] or text Avril on:

07932 543084. All money raised will be shared between the Wellow and Saxon Groups of the RDA. Organisers are keeping their fingers crossed for good weather!
