The Midsomer Norton Walking Football Group has been raising money for two good local causes, one of them being ‘Helping Henry’, a little boy who is eight years old and living with cerebral palsy.

He had an operation a year ago, (Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy) to allow him to be able to walk small distances at home.

He has a manual wheelchair, which although helps, is very limited in gaining access to many places. An electric wheelchair would greatly improve both Henry’s and his family’s life, giving Henry more independence and allowing the family to enjoy walks, access to the beach, and give Henry independence at school.

The MNWFG donated £500 towards Helping Henry recently, and will continue to support him.
