This was supported by Paulton Parish Council, who wanted to improve its services for those who are hard of hearing and to comply with the Equality Act.

The hearing loop system cuts out background noise, which directly affects people’ s hearing.

Cllr Hardman, demonstrating the hearing loop to volunteer librarians, said: “I am delighted to have funded this improvement which will enable us to converse with all our users.”
