Last week, after a school-wide effort involving pupils from all years, families and staff, a large donation of good quality books, both new and used, was taken to Midsomer Norton library as a contribution towards the ‘Gift a Book’ campaign.
This campaign sought to collect books that would be used across several charities to make sure vulnerable people would be ensured a present this Christmas in the form of a book.
The largest collection came from the reception or ‘Wren’ class and there were also contributions from St Marks Secondary School in Bath.
