Westfield TT Runners will be taking part in a three-mile walk from St Margaret’s Hospice to the Tor in Glastonbury to help raise much-needed funds for the hospice that will look after their fellow runner and friend, Julia Bloomfield.

Jo and John Reynolds, who run Westfield TT Runners, told The Journal: “One of our Westfield TT runners, Julia Bloomfield, has a rare liver cancer called Metastatic Cholangiocarcinoma.

“She has undergone radiotherapy and is due to start chemotherapy later this month.

“Julia has expressed a desire to raise money and awareness for St Margaret’s Hospice who are supporting her and her family.

“We are organising a walk which Julia intends to take part in next Saturday (15th July) at 10am, as chemotherapy starts soon after.

“The walk will take place from the Hospice to the Tor and a loop back which will be about three miles.”
