A planning application to build 55 dwellings in Upper Whitelands, Radstock, has been withdrawn.

The proposal, which would have seen a community shop/cafe, as well as associated parking built alongside 55 new homes will no longer go ahead.

Many of the current residents had stated that the addition of 55 homes would be unsustainable to the current road layout and health and school provisions.
