The Carers’ Centre is celebrating their 20th anniversary this month with a Charity Choral Concert at St John’s Church in Chilcompton.
The charity was formed in 1996 as the Care Network and has developed over the last two decades to support a community of 4,000 carers from Bath and North East Somerset.
The Mendip Male Voice Choir and ladies group, Sing Your Heart Out, have generously donated their time and voices to put on the concert. The concert will feature a range of contemporary and traditional songs.
Everyone is welcome and all proceeds will support the Carers’ Centre’s work in the local community.
The Centre supports local families who are looking after someone who is ill or disabled. Becoming a carer can be very isolating, stressful and exhausting, so the Carers’ Centre provides support,
advice and respite to enable people to carry on looking after the person they care for.
