Writhlington School ended another fun packed and vibrant term with an Easter raffle to raise money for one of their affiliated charities, Moving Mountains, a charity which helps create sustainable solutions to economic, social and environmental problems in Africa.
The winner of the Easter chocolate hamper was aptly- named Year 7 pupil, Ruby Eggleton.
Head of Fundraising, Mark Bridges, said: "We couldn't believe it when Ruby's ticket was drawn. There were a few members of staff who claimed it was a fix! All I can say is, it was a lucky coincidence and I think a pretty charming one at that. For Ruby and all the students and staff at Writhlington, it's been an 'eggcellent' end to an 'eggstremely' busy term."
Students and staff raised £138.50 for the Moving Mountains charity.
