Marksbury B celebrated a snooker league and cup double when the Radstock and District Billiards and Snooker League held its presentation dinner at Farmborough Memorial Hall. They held off the challenge of 2012 winners, Clandown A, who were league runners-up and beat old rivals, Mardons D, in the Knock-Out Cup.

Timsbury A finished top of the Billiards League for the first time in their history, with Paulton Royal British Legion A in second place. Marksbury were Knock-Out Cup winners, beating Writhlington in the final.

Mardons A were winners of Snooker Division Two, with Haydon F in second place. After one season in Division Three, Timsbury F have been promoted as champions, with Clapton C as runners-up. Clutton A won the Snooker Plate Competition after beating Mardons X in the final.

League Vice-Chairman, Andy Stock, ended a fine season by being voted 'Player of the Year'. He won the Over-45s Snooker Title, the Open Pairs, with Michael White, and had the highest break of sixty. Timsbury pair, Jon Peters and Mark Edgell, achieved the highest breaks in Division Two and Division Three with 46 and 37 respectively.

James Purchase won the Open Snooker competition after beating last year's champion, Jamie Thornbury, in the final. Doug Kelly won the Division One contest, Eddie Kelly came out on top in Division Two and Pete Clark in Division Three. Tim Bristow enjoyed another good billiards season, winning both the open event and the Over-45s Handicap, with Dave Pulsford successful in the Open Handicap competition.

Evergreen Vince Hardwell knocked in the highest billiards break of 62. Shane Curtis was the Under-18 Singles Champion.

The presentations were made by David Smith, from Bristol, who had tutored the budding referees in the league and who all received their certificates at the dinner.
