It has been a slow start to the season with mixed fortunes so far in the MSL – our first game against Frome Selwood went against us, but against Prattens Away this week we were successful on all three rinks, so we can be reasonably satisfied so far.

We have a short interval before our next game on the 23rd although the next round of the Men’s Top Club competition is at home on Tuesday, so we are hoping the weather stays as good as it has been this week.

Finally, the Mike Rees Trophy competition is played for by members of the club every Friday evening, allowing both our seasoned and new players to improve their game in an atmosphere of friendly rivalry followed by a social evening with a morsel of food, so if anyone would like to try the game of bowls or see what a friendly club we have please come along.
