The Bank Holiday weekend was a real treat, wall to wall sunshine!

We took part in the Bowls Big Weekend on Sunday and Monday in the hope of welcoming some new members and, although not overwhelmed with visitors, it was deemed a very good two days.

Our ladies have been disappointed that two League games have been conceded, one to us and one by us, but the season has plenty of time to improve.

On Sunday, 6th June we hosted a mixed friendly against Begbrook Green and, although we were beaten, it was a very enjoyable afternoon – again in the sun.

Hopefully the fine weather will continue for a while so that the popularity of Monday club night and Wednesday internal league will not wane.
