Well, only a few games left this season. The Ladies have one more game next week in the Mendip League, where we will be hosts to Victoria (White) from Weston-super-Mare. Fosseway are hosting the County Mixed MSL Final on 8th September between Street Bowling Club and Bath Bowling Club.
Next Wednesday, there is a Men’s Friendly Triples match against Wells at home. On Saturday, 9th September there is a Mixed Friendly away at Stothert and Pitt; please put your names down if you are available.
This week, the Ladies played against Alexandra Park at home in a North Somerset League game. We lost on one rink by one shot, won on two rinks and won overall, so claimed eight of the ten points.
On Thursday, we visited our neighbours, Norwest, for our last North Somerset League game and won 71 shots to 41 and took all ten points. We have finished this league in the Runners-up position, with Bath Ladies winning the League.
The Men played their last County League game on Saturday against Alexandra Park. They won on two rinks but lost on one, winning overall by 64 shots to 47 and claiming ten of the twelve points.
