KILMERSDON 210-9 KEYNSHAM SUNDAY XI 163-6
Having been put into bat, Kilmersdon totalled a more-than-useful 210-9 in their forty overs.
Skipper, Mark Batchelar, led the way with a magnificent century before being dismissed for 112, and was ably supported by both Steve Jackson (45) and youngster, Kieron Gray (21). Both Harry Campbell and Harry Husband each picked up three wickets for the visitors.
Some excellent bowling by Killy restricted the visitors reply to 163-6. Colin and Sydney Arblaster, with their strong Timsbury connections, scoring 62 and 32 not-out, respectively, and Richard Tarring scoring 35, while the wickets were shared amongst Harry Humphries and Kieron Gray (two each) and one for Jon Parry, leaving Killy comfortable winners by 47 runs.
The club would once again like to thank Sam Chivers Estate Agents for both the sponsorship of this game and also the provision of new team shirts. This weekend, Killy visit Harptree Village with a 1.30 p.m. start, hoping to further extend their unbeaten start to the season.
