BATH EXILES 200 all-out KILMERSDON 146-9
Batting first, the home side reached a more-than-decent total of 200 with both skipper, Mark Batchelar, and newcomer, Archie Graham, leading the way with the ball for Killy taking three wickets each.
Killy’s response with the bat never really got going, despite the best efforts of club stalwarts. Batchelar and the evergreen Darren Gould, who both scored 33, were well-supported yet again by new boy, Archie Graham (19) and club veteran, Harry Humphries (14 not-out).
Killy hung in there and avoided being bowled out, finishing on 146-9, thereby losing the match by 54 runs. Next up is a home game this weekend against Blagdon CC with a 1.30 p.m. start. After the enforced cancellation of the last home game due to the weather, Killy are hoping for better luck this time.
