Midsomer Norton Cricket Club’s Under-11s confirmed a strong victory on Monday against Temple Cloud CC Under-11’s, finishing the season the same way they began it – by winning!

Midsomer Norton were batting first, with an incredible start to the game and the highest scoring partnership of the season, with Flynn C (26) and Jacob (21). This did not stop here; Ronnie and Elliott came in racking up the score, hitting nine fours between them in just two overs.

Things started to fall as Temple Cloud began to fight back – six wickets were lost from straight balls and run outs. The last batsmen were in and knew they had to finish well, and they did not disappoint; scoring sixteen between Charlie and Ronnie and finishing the innings with a cracking score of 305!

As Temple Cloud came in to bat, Midsomer Norton were feeling confident, which reflected in the bowling with a total of eleven wickets. Wickets came from Toby (2), Elliott (2), Flynn C, Flynn B, Logan, Charlie, a catch from Owen and two cracking run outs.

The final score was 305–201, which means that Midsomer Norton Under-11s officially win the South West League,
