Paulton Rovers held their First Team Presentation Night last Friday in the club's Winterfield Suite.

A large crowd of players, supporters and officials heard football Chairman, Dave Bissex, give a big thank you to the players and Manager, Nick Bunyard, his assistant, Paul Milsom, and Player Coach, Josh Jeffries, on gaining promotion to the Southern League Premier Division for the first time in the club's long history.

Manager Nick Bunyard gave a humorous résumé of the season, of the hard work put in by the squad and thanked his backroom staff and all those behind the scenes who had made history for Paulton Rovers FC.

Club President, Lar Rogers, made the awards. Goal of the Season went to Brandon Barnes for his cheeky back heel at Clevedon in the 7–0 win in which he scored five goals. Supporters Player of the Year – Scott Brice, Players' Player of the Year – Mike Perrott, Manager's Player of the Year – shared by Kyle Phillips and Nick McCootie.

Flowers were then presented to the hospitality and catering staff, Ann Orchard, Helen Kerton, Julie Pow, Sue Parson and Chelsie Metcalf.

Finally, Dave Bissex made a presentation to Club Captain, Dan Cleverley, who joined the club as an eighteen-year-old ten years ago and has led Paulton Rovers from the Western League, where he scored a hat-trick on his debut in a 5–4 win over Bideford, through to the Southern League Premier Division.

The Under-18s have their presentation night this Saturday at 7.30 p.m. in the Winterfield Suite.
