Congratulations to David Knowles, aged 10, from Paulton Junior School, who was awarded Under-11 Boys Intermediate National Champion in the BSGA Schools’ National Trampolining Finals in Newcastle on Saturday, 18th March. His road to success began when he won the South West regional heat in November 2016 and then the Southern Zonal round in February this year.
David faced many challenges along the way to this final, the biggest one being that he narrowly missed out on a podium finish at the same venue in his first final four years ago, so he was keen to go back and grasp that title which had once been so close. David’s success would not have been possible without the support and dedication of his coach, Melissa Reeves, from Writhlington Sports Centre.
