The weather was forecasted to be a balmy 20C, surely not - barmy maybe, it is mid October after all. Few believed it but a number of us did turn up in shorts (with the obligatory waterproofs packed just in case)!

It turned out to be a lovely morning for the playing of a Reverse Tennessee Waltz - don’t ask! Suffice it to say that it’s not that complicated - we are Seniors after all.

Twenty five teams of three took part with some excellent scoring on show.

Results were as follows:

First place went to Phil Thompson, Roger Stone, Ray Wilkinson with eighty six points.

Second went to Jim Lunt, Mel Field, Steve Cockle with eighty three points.

Third was Alan Nash, Andrew Smith, Tony Clement with eighty two points.

Fourth went to Graham Jeffrey, Paul Adams, Alan Smith with eighty two points.

Fifth place went to John Stevens, Dave Brain, Andrew Roper with eighty two points.

Sixth place went to Richard Collier, Phil Button, Jeff Kelly with eighty one points.
