Farrington Park Seniors: Our few days of October sunshine was very welcome but sadly now a distant memory. The evenings are closing in and winter rules are already in place at golf courses around the country.

The final qualifying medal competition of the season attracted an entry of sixty three players on a lovely sunny morning with only light rain forecasted for the latter part of the day.

Our final friendly match of the season was a visit to Knowle Golf Club where as well as enjoying a  truly delicious carvery, an away win of 5-2 was the icing on the cake! Well actually it was apple crumble and custard… delicious!
