New Paulton Rovers Manager, Richard Fey, made his first signing in highly-ratedgoalkeeper, Ben John.
The former Bridgwater Town goalkeeper played almost sixty games last season. He won both Players' Player and Supporters' Player of the Year last season.
Richard Fey said: "As soon as I knew Kyle Phillips had left the club, there was only one goalkeeper I knew could replace Kyle. He is brilliant on and off the pitch and will be a great signing for us."
Rovers are pleased to announce two more new signings for the 2015/16 campaign: Tom Knighton, the former Chippenham Town, Tiverton Town, Mangotsfield United and Yate Town centre forward joins the club from Bridgwater Town, where he was top goalscorer last season with 22 goals. Rovers' fans will no doubt recall he spent a short time with them on loan.
Toby Osman also joins from Chippenham Town, where he featured last season. His brother, Ben, played for Rovers before moving to London two years ago.
Announcing the signings, Manager, Richard Fey, said: "Tom played most of last season out wide and still came away with 22 goals. He had some very good offers on the table, but a chance to have another go at this level appealed to him. He is a proven goalscorer and I'm confident he will be a success at this club. Toby can play anywhere and has a great attitude that always gives 110%. Again, he won't let me down and hopefully I can get him back enjoying his football."
Fey has also announced that Aaron Brown has agreed to join the club as a player and Coach for the 2015/16 season. He joins from Vanarama Conference South side, Western-super-Mare, where he made 32 appearances last season in midfield and defence. However, he is best known for his time at Bristol City, for whom he made 160 appearances before moving to Queens Park Rangers. He also played for Swindon Town, Gillingham, Lincoln City, Wrexham, Darlington and closer to home, Bath City.
Speaking about the latest signing, Fey said: "Nathan and I have known Aaron since we were kids and spoke to him last week. He still wants to play and his experience will be vital for us. He is joining as a Player/Coach as this is something he wants to get into and his knowledge and ideas will be great for us."
Scott Brice, central defender and Captain, will return to the club for a fourth season.
Fey said "I'm delighted Scott has agreed to remain with us as Captain for next season. He's been loyal to the club and I'm very much looking forward to working with him. I have more players to see and will be announcing further signings later in the week."
