PAULTON ROVERS RESERVES 6 EVERCREECH 2
Paulton Reserves won 6–2 at Evercreech in the Quarter-Final of the Tony Baxter Shield.
This was a big comeback for Paulton, who went 2–0 down after twenty minutes, as Evercreech scored through Downton and Roper.
David Hall pulled a goal back on 29 minutes with an over-head kick from a corner taken by Connor to Farr. Ricky Jenkins, five minutes later, equalised by looping the ball over the keeper. A two-all draw at half-time.
Five minutes into the second half, Hall scored from a goalmouth scramble. On 63 minutes, Aaron Whittock, made it 4–2 with a right-footed strike into the bottom corner.
Nick Johnson’s pass to Louis Harrison on 71 minutes saw the left winger make it five. Hall’s header completed his hat-trick from a cross from Ben Park on 82 minutes to make the final score 6–2.

The Youth Team are away to Bradford Town on Tuesday as The Journal went to press. The First team are away next Tuesday, 4th February, at AFC Totton, kick-off is at 7.45 p.m.
