The Paulton Rovers Sunday side went down 5–3 after a brave display against Bath Sunday First Division champions, GT Sports in the Tom Morgan KO Cup Final at Bath City’s Twerton Park.

Against the run of play in the eighteenth minute, Paulton gave away a penalty and David Grey converted. Three minutes later, an equaliser came. On the half hour, Rovers went ahead, but the lead was only retained for two minutes when a low drive by Ash Scott evaded everyone and past Paulton keeper, Simon Chivers. Within a minute, the advantage was restored as Whittock scored again. Rovers had to defend wave and wave of attack and it was 3–3 as they conceded on 57 minutes. Keeper Chivers then made a string of saves with Grey making it 4–3. Ben Swift added a fifth with a firm volley past Man of the Match Chivers. In added time Paulton should have been awarded a penalty following a rare incursion in the GT Sports box in a game well refereed by Darren Gay.
