Paulton Rovers were edged out in an entertaining game at Cirencester, thanks to an 82nd-minute winner by striker, Ben Whitehead.
In an end-to-end first half, Rovers took the lead on eight minutes, thanks to a towering header by at the back post, after an inch-perfect left foot cross by debutant, Nuno Felix.
After good chances at both ends, Rovers had a golden chance to double the lead, following great work by Dave Sims, who beat two defenders before flicking the ball inside to Jack Ball, who dragged his shot just wide of the post.
On the fortieth minute, Cirencester got their equaliser, after striker, Ben Whitehead, latched onto a through-ball and finished past Hannah.
The action continued at both ends in the second half, with both teams looking for the winner. Firstly, Morgan-Williams curled over for Rovers in the 81st minute, and then Ben Whitehead rifled home from the edge of the box to put the home side in front. Cirencester had a great chance to put the game to bed one minute later, when Tommy Anderson had the goal at his mercy but somehow shot wide. Rovers pushed for the equaliser in the dying minutes, but Cirencester held firm to hang on for all three points.
