Frome Collegians’ season does not falter – they are now in the Semi-Final of the Dimmock Green KO Cup after a tremendous win away to Victoria Street, 4-1.
Frome’s goals came from Morgan Marsh (2), Adam Lock and Lewis Perrett, while the home team replied with a goal from Tom Ball. Collegians will play Peasedown Albion at home on Saturday, 10th March to see who will be up against Coleford in the final.
Bath Villa had a resounding 6-1 win at home against Somer Valley in the Quarter-Final of the Paulton Hospital Cup. They will be away to Radstock A in the Semi-Final. Waiting for the winners in the final at Paulton Rovers’ ground on Good Friday (30th March) at 11 a.m. is Coleford.
Weston Bath are in the Semi-Final of the Wilmott Cup after beating Glastonbury Res 3-0, and Wells A just scraped through 2-1 at home against Timsbury Res in the Charity Cup.
In the Premier League, Radstock A moved up to fourth place after a hard fought 2-1 win at Temple Cloud.
A treble from Chilcompton Res, Jake Ingham put a dent in Pilton’s ambition to become First Division champions. ‘Chilly’ visited the home of Glastonbury Festival to inflict only the second defeat of the season to the home side, 3-2. Finding the net for the home team were Brian Findlay and Will Reilly. Chew Magna Res are up to third, beating High Littleton at home 2-0.
Only one game played in the Second Division, Coleford Res really went to town at home to Westhill Sports Res, winning 7-0. Amongst the goals were Macauley Fisher (3), Adam Cray, Jamie Olding, Lewis Ford and Jack Davis.
Stoke Rovers in the Third Division consolidated their position in second place, beating the young Timsbury A side 3-1. Farrington Gurney go up to third, beating Chilcompton United away, 2-0, and Westfield A move up one place after their victory at home to bottom-team, Pilton Res, 3-2.
