The outstanding game of the day was Westfield Reserves at home against the undefeated Coleford Athletic in the Dimmock Green KO Cup Quarter Finals.

It was end to end for the whole game, the home side took the lead half way through the first half through Sam Gregory, which was equalised by the very lively Coleford forward, Jack Davies. The second half was still the same pattern of play from both sides with the visitors taking the lead with a good goal from defender, Nick Young and again, it wasn’t long before the sides were level again, Freddie Lines getting the goal.

At full time, the scores were locked at 2–2, so the dreaded penalty shootout came into play, the home team kept their nerve to score all five of their penalties with Coleford just failing with one, so Westfield goes through to the semi-final.

In the Baxter Shield, there was a good win by Coleford Reserves at home over Saltford Reserves, 2–0. Getting the goals were Stewart Bryant and Adam Cray, also getting through was Peasedown Albion Reserves, Tom Pielesz bagging a hat-trick and Sam Hoddinnott scoring away against previously undefeated Somer Valley, winning 4–0.

Purnell Reserves had a very good home win against Interhound 2–1 in the Premier Division.

In the First Division, Victoria at home had to work hard to overcome Westhill Sports 2–0 to keep them the top of the league, Dan Linham and Ben Lantz finding the net. Second placed team, Baltonsborough at home also found Chilcompton Reserves hard to overcome, they just managed it 2–1. Tom Clifford-Jones got both goals. Meadow could not follow last week’s win, going down away to Pilton 5–1 and bottom team, High Littleton, record their first win in the league this season beating Chew Magna Reserves 6–1.

Evercreech, in the Second Division, went away to bottom team Glastonbury Reserves and won 4–0 and Peasedown Albion at home, closed the gap on top team Somer Valley, beating Pensford Reserves 4–0. Their goals came from Dan Mitchell, Dan Hucker, Scott Baker and Hayden Campbell. Mells Reserves secure their second win in the league beating Westhill Sports Reserves 5–0.
