Rovers lost 2–1 at Weymouth in the First Qualifying Round of the FA Cup.

The home side were awarded a penalty on twenty minutes, taken by Charlie Davis, which brought a superb save from Paulton keeper, Andrew Hannah, turning the ball over the crossbar.

Weymouth went ahead after 36 minutes through Aaron Rodrigues, who slotted the ball across Hannah into the net. They added to the score on 52 minutes after a superb free kick by Davis found the bottom corner of the net.

Rovers pulled a goal back on 62 minutes as Nathan Legge turned home Jordan Ricketts’ left-wing corner. Tony Ricketts’ men pressed hard to level and Hannah pulled off a number of fine saves to keep the Terriers at bay. The winners are home to Gosport Borough.
