Paulton Rovers 0 v 2 Yate town

Yate started the game at a high pace and Aaron Sainsbury saved from Sam Kamara.

Craig Allen prevented the dangerous Stuart Fleetwood but from the resulting left wing corner taken by Fleetwood, the ball was not cleared and former Paulton striker, Dave Sims-Burgess, thumped the ball home.

Rovers first chance of the game saw Jack Filling on blast over from Mason Harrison‘s freekick on the left.

Paulton keeper, Aaron Sainsbury, brilliantly tipped over the bar from Craig Normans header.

Tyler Jackson put pressure on the Yate defence and he and Will Hailstone set up Dave O’Hare but the chance was cleared.

Allan headed away a dangerous Fleetwood cross and the veteran former league player brought yet another good save from Sainsbury.

Yate made it to 2-0 in the sixtieth minute as Sam Turls’ cross was headed on by Fleetwood and turned into the net by Jordan Williams.

From Caman Harvey’s free kick, Alan’s header was cleared for a corner.

Late on Fleetwood set up Williams who completely missed an open goal and Sainsbury was again alert to take a Norman header from Fleetwood’s cross final score.
