The FA have published their proposed 2019/20 season for the Evostik Southern League Division One South. This is subject to possible appeals, and final ratification at the league AGM in Warwick will take place on Saturday, 15th June.

Barnstaple Town, who finished second from bottom, have been given a reprieve, as Street elected to resign from the League. Sholing (near Southampton) and Willand Rovers (near Tiverton) have been promoted from the Wessex and Western League, respectively.

Basingstoke Town and Frome Town, both relegated from the Premier Division, replace promoted Yate Town and Blackfield & Langley.

Evesham United were thought to seek a move to the Central Division, and other sides may appeal to the Football Association to look again to reduce travelling.

Paulton Rovers’ Assistant Manager and Coach, Gary Powell, will not be with the club moving into the next season. As a former player, Gary has said how much he has enjoyed the last two years as part of the management team.

Manager, John Rendell, and Chairman, Dave Bissex, thanked Gary for his commitment and service to the club and wished him well for the future.
