NEW Paulton Rovers’ manager Kieran Baggs and his coaching staff have been putting the squad through their pre season training over the past few weeks.
The squad includes several new players, those retained from last season and a number of youth team players who are stepping up to senior football.
Baggs, a former Paulton defender, aims to have a very fit squad going into the pre season matches. This starts with a trip to play Welton Rovers on Thursday, 3 July, kick off 7-30 p.m.
Then Devizes Town are the opposition on Saturday, 5 July, to be held at Writhlington Sports Centre, kick off 3-00 p.m. and this is followed by an away match at Radstock Town on 10 July, kick off 7-30 p.m.

The Emirates FA Cup draw will take place on Friday, 4 July, and Paulton Rovers are one of the 747 clubs who have been accepted. The extra preliminary round is set for Saturday, 2 August, with the preliminary rRound two weeks later.
The U18s have been accepted as one of clubs in the FA Youth Cup. Meanwhile, in the Les Phillips (Western League) Cup, Rovers have been drawn away to Keynsham Town in the first round due to be played on Tuesday, 30 September (TBC).
Paulton finished ninth in the Premier Division of the Jewson Western League last season, winning 18 of their 38 matches, drawing five and losing 15.
The division was won by Portishead Town who finished five points clear of runners-up Clevedon Town while Brixham FC were in third place. Portishead also completed the season’s double in the league by winning the Les Phillips Cup.
