Saturday saw Radstock Town Reserves welcome Clevedon United Reserves to Southfields for their first match of the season.

With it being a dull and wet day, only a few supporters weathered the storm and came along.

The first goal d­idn’t take long to come, with Sam Harrison getting the home team off to a great start. Radstock Reserves were eager for more goals, and then it happened – Nathan Townsley scored a great goal easily past the away side’s keeper to make it 2-0.

Fifteen minutes into the second half, the away side scored, making it 2-1. Radstock were having none of this, and with two further goals from Maison Harrison and Nath Flynn, the final score finished 4-1 to the home side.
