Paulton’s 22-year-old striker, Leighton Thomas, has put pen to paper and signed a one year contract.

He has scored five times in his club’s two league games to date.

Rovers have brought forward their home league game against Evesham United to Saturday, 4th September, kick-off at 3 pm. The game was originally scheduled for Wednesday, 29th September. The Reserves start the Mid Somerset Divison Two campaign away to Coleford Athletic Reserves with a 3.30 pm kick-off.

During the week, on Thursday, 2nd September, the U-18’s visit Royal Wootton Bassett Town-U18’s in the Preliminary Round of the FA Youth Cup, kick-off 7.30 pm

Then on Wednesday, 8th September the First team are home to Highworth Town in the Preliminary Round of the Southern League Cup, kick-off 7.30 pm. Tony Walsh
