Paulton came out on top in a six goal thriller against Mangotsfield United. Rovers started the game the better of the two sides, with Aysa Corrick seeing his cross missed by Ryan Gay.

Paulton had the best spell of possession in the first twenty minutes, with chances coming and going. Eventually, on half-time, Paulton scored first, as Liam Monelle found Corrick, who hit a cracker of a shot. Two minutes later, Monelle hit a firm shot from distance which was parried out by Mangotsfield’s keeper, Cameron Clarke, only for Ryan Gay to follow up and finish to make it 2–0.

On 55 minutes, Corrick laid the ball to left back, Camden Harvey, who drove a low shot past Clarke to make it 3–0. Mangotsfield were awarded a disputed penalty, which Kyle Tooze took and brought a fine save from Rovers’ stopper, Rob Brown. Kye Simpson pulled a goal back on 78 minutes and Simpson added a second, racing on to a long clearance by his keeper to slip past Brown. In time added on, Man of the Match, Corrick, broke on the left and crossed for Josh Morgan-Williams to beat Clarke. Star Man of the Match: Aysa Corrick – Paulton Rovers.
