On Sunday, two parents of girls who play in Purnell Sports’ U15s football team took part in a 27-mile sponsored walk from Radstock to Bath and back again.
Darren Gould and Jenny Cockerill decided to take on this challenge as a way of raising funds for new training gear for the Girls’ team.
At the time of writing, Darren and Jenny have raised £585 of their £600 target, and are hoping they can reach the full amount by the end of the week.
