The Mid-Somerset Football League has two teams through to the Semi-Finals of the Somerset Junior Cup; Coleford, with two hat-trick heroes in Dan Reynolds and Jack Davis. Curt Mcinerny scored the seventh goal against First Division’s Clutton Reserves, winning 7–1.

Frome Collegians travelled the short distance to previous winners of the competition, Freshford, and came away with a hard-earned 5–4 win. There was an outside chance the league would have all four Semi-Finalists and how close it came. Radstock A lost on penalties to Perry Street and Westfield Reserves lost 1–0 away to Westonzoyland.

In the Paulton Hospital Cup, Chilcompton Reserves had a good away win against Purnell Reserves 4–1.

Mells, in the Premier League, recorded their fifth victory of the season away to bottom team, Welton Arsenal, 4–2. Temple Cloud travelled away to Wells A and came away with a good 2–0 win.

In the First Division Victoria consolidated their top position, winning at home 4–1 against bottom team, High Littleton. Baltonsborough stay in second place in the league, winning away to Pilton; their goals coming from Dean Perry (3), Daryl Careslade and Ben Trelor. Belrose picked up three useful points at Chew Magna Reserves winning 2–1, with both goals from Matt Rivers. Meadow Rangers had a tremendous win against high-flying Westhill Sports, 3–2.

Top team in the Second Division, Somer Valley, made it twelve out of twelve wins at home against Frome Town Sports Reserves, but they were made to work for it, getting over the line 3–2 with goals from Fran Moon (2) and substitute, Simon Avis.

Second placed Peasedown Albion found it hard-going away to the improving Coleford Reserves, winning 3–1 with goals from Mark Gould (2) and Lee Gould and Macualey Fisher scoring for the home team. Bath Villa stay in touch with the leaders, winning 6–1 away to Glastonbury Reserves. Amongst the goals were Lee Rudland (3), Ryan Rudland (2) and Alex Webb. Saltford Reserves won away to Westhill Sports Reserves, 2–0.

In the Third Division, Peasedown Albion Reserves have put some space between the chasing pack at the top of the league, with a 6–0 win against Farrington. A Tom Pielesz hat-trick set up the win, with goals also from Jack Hemmings, David Fairweather and substitute, Olly Neech. Second placed Timsbury Reserves rattled in eight against bottom team, Pilton Reserves. Old Crown, on the 4G pitch at Odd Down, put seven past Purnell A to stay in third spot and Westfield A beat Chilcompton United, 3–0.
