Paulton Rovers’ management team continue to be busy shaping the squad for the forthcoming campaign and further additions have been made.

Manager, John Rendell, is delighted to have signed three more players. Goalkeeper, Lee Mathews, is a strong commanding presence with bags of experience in and around this level, the timing of this fits perfectly, both for the club and also for Lee, who can’t wait to get started again playing games and keeping clean sheets. The 28-year-old has played for Clevedon, Yate town, Almondsbury and Taunton Town.

Elliott Gibbons has re-signed for the club. Formerlly with Bath City and Mangotsfield, the box to box midfielder played the majority of games for Paulton last year, weighing in with some important goals from midfield, and management is looking forward to working with him as a vital figure going in to next season.

The signing of Dale Evans is a major coup for Rovers, Dale joins from Mangotsfield Utd and was previously club captain for Taunton Town. Previous clubs include Newport County, Cwmbran Town, Cinderford and Yate Town. The midfielder has bags of experience playing a big part at good clubs and his game knowledge/professionalism and general attitude will be absolutely vital to what Paulton Rovers are looking to achieve moving forward.
