Goals from George Bendell, Sam Gregory and an own goal saw the home side secure a second win of the summer programme.
Trowbridge, who finished sixth in the Wilts League last season, look to have built a good squad, and they tested Radstock’s back four with some genuine pace and no small amount of skill. However, the home side’s experience and strength of squad meant that they contained the threat and looked a good side themselves, which all bodes well for the coming season.
In an attempt to ensure that the squad is match-fit in time for the big kick-off on Saturday, 3rd August, the club management has arranged a further friendly at Shepton Mallet on Thursday, 25th July; kick-off 7.30 p.m.
