Following the completion of their season last weekend, Welton Rovers’ Manager, Nick Beaverstock, and his assistant, Malcolm Beck, have announced that they are stepping down as part of the club’s management team.

A statement released by the club said: “We would like to thank Beaves for his services to the club over the past decade, be it as a player in our Somerset Premier Cup winning side, or as the Manager that won us a memorable promotion to the Premier Division in 2015. Nick and Malcolm’s efforts and commitment over the past three seasons have always been exemplary and we thank them for that.”

Welton Rovers is now looking for a new Manager to take control of the club to prepare for the 2016/17 season in the Toolstation Western League First Division. Despite leading the club to promotion in the Premier Division last year, Welton have had a difficult 2015/2016 season, winning just four of their League games and being relegated back to the Toolstation League First Division. They ended the season with a 3–1 win against Hallen last Saturday.
