WELTON Rovers Football Club have announced that Jamie Harrison has been appointed first team manager.
In a statement the club says: “Jamie is a UEFA A Licence coach, having previously worked for Yeovil Town as Academy Manager and has Western League management experience with Corsham Town, plus coaching roles for Southampton, Bristol Rovers, Paulton Rovers and Chippenham Town youth set-ups.
“We look forward to moving into this new era at Welton Rovers, and are confident that Jamie is the perfect person to lead the team next season.”
Rovers finished rock bottom of the Premier Division in the Jewson Western League durin g the 2024-25 season, winning only one of their 38 games and finishing with only four points.
However, results did improve towards the end of the season and they were only beaten 2-1 at home by Paulton Rovers in a derby match in their last game of the season.
