With their 4–2 win against Radstock A in the Mid-Somerset Football League’s Premier Division, Frome Collegians are runners-up after completing their season’s fixtures. It is now in the hands of Westfield Reserves, who have to beat Radstock A on Saturday, 13th May to clinch second place.

It was a nail-biting finish in the First Division – Westhill Sports, beating Belrose away 2–1 are in second place by just one point from Baltonsborough on the same number of games, so it is all down to the last games on Tuesday, 9th May. Westhill play league winners, Victoria, at home and Baltonsborough are away to Chilcompton Sports Reserves, who will be victorious on the night. Bath Villa received their runners-up medals for the Second Division after their game against Meadow Rangers last Tuesday.

In the Third Division, the whole Wessex team was at the game between Timsbury Reserves and Peasedown Albion Reserves – willing the visitors to draw or win the game. The home team scored early in the first half and held out until nearly the last minute, when Peasedown scored to draw the match and gave Wessex the runners-up spot.

There is a great game possible at Shepton Mallet this Friday, 5th May, kick-off at 7.30 p.m. with the Final of the Moorland Cup between Peasedown Albion and Somer Valley; another big crowd is expected.
