Paulton started a bit sloppy, but grew into the game and on the thirtieth minute the ball bounced kindly for Blaine Lawrence in the six-yard box to make it 1–0.

Keynsham equalised in the 42nd minute from a penalty after poor defending. In the second half, Rovers upped their game and started creating lots more chances, and on the 60th minute, Ali Sen had a one-on-one. He shot low to the keeper’s left, who made a good save.

Five minutes later, Mason Harrison hit a fierce shot from 35 yards and the keeper again made a great save. In the eightieth minute, Paulton got their reward and with good link-up play, Blaine went through on goal and slotted it past the keep.

Deep into stoppage time with only twenty seconds left, Keynsham had a corner with a free header at the near post and they headed it into the goal.

Overall the performance was good and Assistant Manager, Jon Filer, felt Rovers should have won.
