TALENTED youngster Robbie James has signed schoolboy forms for the Bristol City Academy.

Stratton United FC have congratulated Robbie on signing a contract with City saying: “”Robbie started his football journey for Stratton United FC and then joined Paulton Rovers and has spent this season playing up a year where he has been an integral part of the U9 Maroon Junior Premier League squad.

“But now Bristol City have snapped him up and he’s already proving himself against some of the top Premier League academy teams.

“Well done Robbie. Everyone at Stratton wishes you all the very best for the future; you’re a brilliant player, a lovely kid as well as being a very hard worker and we’re all proud of you.”

Paulton have also congratulated Robbie by saying: “Robbie joined Paulton as an U6 and this season has been an integral part of the U9 Maroon squad. Well done Robbie, keep up the great work.”
