PAULTON ROVERS U-18’s 2 BISHOP SUTTON 1
The youth team played their first game for two months on Thursday evening due to weather postponements.
After having a first half goal disallowed, Tim Curtis’s young Paulton side hit two second half goals to beat Bishop Sutton.
Connor Liddeard hit the first after 54 minutes with a powerful drive that got a slight deflection and Harvey Hadrill headed home to second on 72 minutes.
Bishop Sutton responded with a late consolation goal.
Odd Down, who are the visitors to Winterfield Road next Thursday, 11th February, lost 4–2 at home last week to Radstock Town.
As a result, Rovers go to the top of the Somerset Floodlit Youth League Central Division.
