Westfield Football Club were the opposition for Tunley Athletic on Saturday, 4th August in the eighth annual Freda Hookings MBE Memorial Trophy game. Freda was President of Tunley FC for over forty years and Vice-President of the Somerset FA.
The trophy was donated by Freda's family to be played for between Tunley against a local football club in a pre-season wrm-upmatch. Both Clubs would like to thank Keith (Flash) Lewis for refereeing the game again. The result of the game was a four – two win for Westfield.
Players, friends and family gathered after the match for refreshments in the Recreation Centre.
