Last weekend's bad weather arrived too late to dampen the spirits of Midsomer Norton Cricket Club's youth section last Friday evening.
Since the start of the season, playing and coaching sessions for all age groups have been held at the club's Withies Lane ground. And while the youngsters play cricket, parents enjoy BBQ and bar facilities at the club.
Club Chairman, Kevin Tabb, believes that young players are the future of the club. He said: "I would like to thank all of the kids and their parents for their support on Friday evenings this season. "I would also like to thank the Coaches for all their efforts. They have all combined to make Friday evenings at the club fantastic fun."
MNCC's Friday evening youth section sessions will continue until the middle of July.
