However, despite trees, bunkers and ditches figuring in the game, Glynis Slater and Cath Levell won the gross trophy on 92, whilst Diane Ramsay and Janice White won the nett trophy on 73.5.
A good turnout at the Ladies’ monthly stableford competition saw Chris Gee win with 36 points. This was run in conjunction with the Bronze division Barlow Cup qualifier, and so she will represent the club at the County Bronze Open in August. The Bronze runner up was Kathy Lane with 31 points.
The Ladies’ League teams were busy with an Inter-League away at Tall Pines which saw the home club win 4.5 to 2.5. The Alliance team played at Clevedon and secured eight points, with four team members winning their matches.
