Wells Seniors played Long Sutton on another very wet and windy June day. Despite this, all players enjoyed the good company along with a great day out on a good course that is getting more challenging every year.

Captain for the day was Peter Leverick, who led the 4BBB format with his partner, Lawrence Sokol, getting an honourable half in the first game. Wins were then recorded by Ged Ramsell/Len Swales, Mike Magrath/John Watson, Steve Dent/Ron Hancock, and Mike Gee/Dave Couzens, with only George White /Rob Baker coming second in their match, and Wells winning overall, 4.5 to 1.5.
