Changeable weather greeted sixty golfers for the Mens’ Autumn Fourball Betterball – the winners were Dave and Tim Sheppard with forty five points, closely followed by Mike McKay and Paul Cullen on forty four and then the all-junior pairing of Rhys Pugh and Charlis Sheppard on forty three.

The Ladies’ October Medal winners were as follows – silver went to Polly Clark nett seventy four, bronze was Janice White nett seventy three and copper went to Jane Tucker with nett seventy five.

Forty eight players tee’d up on a beautiful Autumn Day for the Seniors’ Pre-AGM Stableford.

Phil Spring, Seniors Captain came fourth with thirty six points, Tony Duffin second on countback from Nick Carter with thirty seven points and the winner of the Harry Mayle Cup 2022 was Roger Webber with thirty nine points, which included a ‘blob’ on the sixteenth.

The Seniors suffered a 1-6 drubbing at Clevedon with the only bright spot being a win for Patrick Duffin and Nick Poore.
