Thursday, 5th December's Qualifying Stableford for the Ladies at Farrington Park saw conditions worthy of inclusion in an epic poem. Indeed, Boreas, Homer's God of the North Wind, made his presence well felt!

35 Ladies braved the conditions. A round that requires either head winds, tail winds or cross winds to be taken into account for every shot, including putts, is difficult to do justice on paper. The Competition Scratch Score or CSS, which moves as a result of course conditions being more or less favourable than 'normal', was calculated as 75. Didi Ager came first and Bridget Rylance came second, both with 30 pts on countback. Suzanne Young came third with 29 pts on countback. Ann Weeks had a two spot on the eighth hole and Gill Russell had a two spot on the tenth.

Three Ladies took part in Saturday, 6th December's Qualifying Stableford. Jo Carter came first with 35 pts.
