Mendip Ladies Firsts travelled to Bath on Saturday to face third in the league, Bath Buccs.

The game started with a high tempo from both teams and there was a fair share of possession. By half-time, it was deadlock with no goals. The second half saw Mendip take control and maintain a majority of the possession. The joint Players of the Match, Jess Harding and Charlene Vranch, created the first goal of the game, Jess having the first strike and Charlene quick to respond to the rebound slotting the ball past the keeper. With only five minutes to go, a long ball searching found Vranch who scored her second goal of the match and with this, Mendip knew they had the win. Next week, Mendip travel to Bournemouth who are currently top of the table.
