Paulton Rovers Netball Club is opening its doors over the summer for anyone looking for a fun, social activity, for those looking to get fit and rediscover an old school sport or for those who are interested in joining a netball club and getting back into competitive matches. The club is hosting three events, of which anyone can attend over the age of sixteen.

From 5th June through to 10th July (7 p.m. – 8 p.m.), Back to Netball returns, following three successful programmes. Back to Netball is a nationwide scheme aimed at providing a gentle introduction/reintroduction to the game. The emphasis of these sessions is on learning new skills and having fun, while playing netball with friends. Whether it is about rediscovering sporting abilities you forgot you had or about getting active again, these sessions cater for ALL abilities.

Running alongside this is 'Pay and Play', for those with more netball experience, which starts from 29th May through to 26th June, 8 p.m. – 9 p.m. Pay and Play is open to those who love playing netball, whether one's own club has stopped training for the season or people just miss playing the game and want to get back into the sport. Pay and Play does not involve any coaching, instead you can just turn up and enjoy a fun, relaxed match with friends.

Finally, the club is also looking to recruit for its senior three senior teams that play in the Somerset Netball League. Matches are played most Saturdays, home and away, during September through to the beginning of May. If anyone is interested in playing in the Premiership through to the Third Division, they should come along to the following selection dates: 17th and 24th July – 14th and 21st August, 8 p.m. – 9.30 p.m. We are also looking to enter a fourth team.
